I’m an amateur photographer and a passionate birder so my faithful camera is a regular companion on my travels. But Nov 2017 was very special. My husband and I had gone to Uttarakhand on our first ever ‘Birding ‘ trip with Wild India and it was an unforgettable experience! The trip was meticulously planned and our vehicle was very comfortable. It was a small group of five people so it was more like a family trip! Our stay with an experienced guide, Shri Yashpal Negi at his home with home cooked food and warm hospitality was an additional treat! Wild India’s Bhavesh Rathod, himself a great photographer was very helpful with his tips on birds as well as photography! We were fortunate to see so many lifers in a short span of four days! It was truly a great experience and we’re looking forward to repeating such trips….thank you so much, Wild India.
The thosegar waterfalls and the Chalkewadi windmills..and ofcourse the kaas pathar. Truely a great trip. Kudos to Bhavesh and Sunil for the wonderful arrangement!! keep up the good work!!
It was wonderfully managed by Bhavesh, Sunil and Rupali. Excellent. Important thing is I felt so comfortable through out the tour due to friendly approach of all the hosts. I would always prefer to come with you guys due to this friendly and comfortable treatment !!
Birding in Great Rann of Kutch had been in my wishlist for long.
It is my good fortune I came across wild India Eco tours on the net and through one of my friends.
I joined their GRK birding tour from 21-1 to 24-1.
While the biding experience was out of the world, every aspect of the tour starting from registration, informing the itenerary, giving support for booking tickets, accompanying us to the destination was very efficiently and professionally handled by Mr Bhavesh Rathod.
The number of tour participants was kept at ideal level, the choice of homestay and the birding guide was exceptional in quality and delivery.
Each one of the participants was given individual attention and enabled to realise their individual personal goals.
I look forward to participate in their future birding tours for a hassle free and highly satisfying tours.
I am fairly new to the world of birding and my first trip ever was with the Wild-India team to Bhigwan which was a truly wonderful experience. Subsequently I have been to Akshi beach, Airoli creek and this month to Chopta (which was fantastic).
The “Three Musketeers” make a great team and are very generous and enthusiastic with sharing their knowledge of the wild and photography. Their trips are very well planned in small groups. They have a great following of wonderful birders and it is fun to share each other’s finds.
I wish team Wild-India all the very best, always and look forward to many more trips with them.
Taking a trip with a new group is always an inhibition. And my situation was a similar one. On one birding to Veer Dam, i met Rudraksha. His demeanor was very pleasing. On seeing my keen interest in bird watching, he gently suggested that he belongs to a group of nature lovers and helped me get through to Wild India.
To give this group a try, i booked for the Kaas Pathaar tour. And i met Sunil Kadam then. I am still obliged for his caring attitude. Wild India members always make sure that they have an expert guide accompanying for each tour, though each member is equally knowledgeable.
In the small span of 4 years, i have made 4 tours with them, to Goa, Amboli ghat, Andaman, in addition to Kaas Pathaar. It was amazing to know Bhavesh because of his multiple interest in birding, herping, flora. Their arrangements are impeccable.
We had a fantastic birding experience in Chopta and Makku, Uttarakhand. Our local resource person, Mr. Negi was exceptionally knowledgeable and very good company. Home stay at Sparrow House Birders Camp was comfortable.
Many thanks Bhavesh Rathod of Wild India for organising our trip. You made our experience seamless and all the more enjoyable. Also, thanks for sharing some photographic tips.
We’ll be very happy to recommend you to our friends and acquaintances.
Cheers
It was a fantastic trip with a pleasant group for company. Thanks to your personal supervision everything was just superb and the stay was also very good. I would also like to thank Sunil and Rupali for making it a kind of family get together. From the points we discussed I would like to add one more thing regarding the breakfast. As we all know that we will return from the safari by 11 am the breakfast can be kept ready or a brunch can be arranged avoiding the lunch. this is because of the gap between breakfast and lunch is too short. Looking forward to the next trip with you all. It was a great experience.
I travelled to Keoladeo National park with Wild India in Jan 17. This was my first tour with them. We were 6 enthusiast birders and Bhavesh and Rudraksh accompanied the group guiding us. Bharatpur is truly a treat for birders. Both Bhavesh and Rudraksh are passionate about birding and they made sure they were with the group in assisting in identification of different birds. They also guided the photographers in setting the equipment in different lighting. As this was my first birding trip, Rudraksh helped me in identifying new species, differentiating between birds and answering my many queries. Arrangement for transport and accommodation was handled well. It was really a good introduction for me to birding and look forward to many more tours with Wild India.
Superb birding, superb management, and such sweet and helpful friends… Loved every minute of it…. And certainly looking forward to next trip.
Superb experience. All the arrangements including stay ,food & travelling was very well taken care of. Special thanks for providing detailed information of flora of kaas. In all had a great time with loads of fun. Thanks to team Wild India for such a wonderful trip.
I had a wonderful trip to Mishmi Hills with Wild India in March 2018. It was a lifetime experience for me with amazing birds and good photography. Bhavesh was amazing in the field with lot of knowledge of birds (at micro level), habitats and non the less photography tips. Stay, food and travel arrangements were so good (especially even at that difficult terrane)that we did not feel away from home at any point of time. Though unknown to each other initially we felt like a small family and treated like one. Ample time was given in the field for birding knowledge sharing and photography. The trip was meticulously planned and made enjoyable. Expectations fulfilled. Thanks to Bhavesh and Wild India.. Looking forward to many more expeditions with you …
About 5yrs ago I saw a blue colour bird with a sharp call ,that was the time I got curious about Birds. One fine day was introduced to Bhavesh from Team India ,a birding group, my experience with them was absolutely wonderful, they initiated me into the world of Birds .Every trip with them is remarkable, not only for watching Birds but also learning about them, getting an indepth knowledge about various characters to be seen n the feather in the cap is I learnt about handling my 📷. The interactive session in the evenings after dinner where we sit n discuss about Birds in details ,jogging our memories about the birds seen, preparing a list of the day’s catch. The best part is that the only topic discussed are Birds, n 📷. With this group I feel absolutely safe .They have a great sense of commitment, sincerity n responsibility. I go with them at least once a year n always look forward for such outings.
Me and my wife Dr. Poorva had an amazing tour of the Andamans in Nov 2018.
The birding focused trip, aided by a local birding guide, allowed immense opportunities for photography of the endemic species. The highlight was the sighting of three endemic owl species on the very first evening session of birding!
My experiences of Wild india – Sunil Kadam during the Chopta trip and Bhavesh during the Andamans trip are very positive. They both are driven by giving the participant’s the best of the ‘birding’ experiences ! All logistics, accommodation arrangements are well attended allowing the participants’ to focus and enjoy birding!
We look forward to more such experiences in the future. Best Wishes!
One of the best birding trip ever. Good number of birds. Got some fantastic clicks. Great live support / guidance from Bhavesh And Rudraksh. A Must visit location for birding and I would recommend Wild-India.
Liked the entire tour! Most of all – I liked the way you people had arranged everything. In short – An amazing experience.
I am novice in bird-photography and was curious about Himalayan birds. Luckily had the opportunity to participate in their Sattal-Pangot-Chafi Bird-watching tour during May 2017. I learned lot many things from mentor and co-birders. It was an amazing experience. Mr. Bhavesh’s in-depth knowledge of birds and his way of explanation is really appreciable. Hats off to team Wild-India for their venture. I would definitely endeavour to join their future tours. शुभकामनाएँ
Had a great time in Tadoba !!! wild india rocks !!! can’t get better than this !! lovely arrangements , nice stay, nice food , hospitality is too good !!! thanks a lot guys !!! Best one ever !!!
Awesome Hospitality, Excellent Service, Great Location, Friendly Group, Ultimate Knowledge sharing and Aflatoon Hosts Bhavesh Rathod and Sunil Kadam… WILD INDIA has now raised the bar of my expectation with any tour operator. Tadoba… has been memorable tour for me. Looking forward for many such excursions.
I enjoyed the birding trip at Santal, Chafi & Pangot. This was my first exclusive birding trip. Mr Bhavesh was excellent, as he paid individual attention to everyone in the group identifying and explaining the birds. Thanks for keeping the group small and for all the efforts that was made in organising the trip. Everything went on smoothly. I would love to join other birding trips organised by you.

It was a very well planned trip and everything was spot on. The food served was exceptional in taste but was served cold. If that part could be taken care of then ders nothing more i could ask for.
Mr Sunil was very knowledgeable and had great patience is imparting his knowledge n expertise.
Looking fwd to more trips with WILD INDIA in the future.
I have had some of my most memorable and educating trips with Wild India. I have been to Bhigwan, Bharatpur and Chopta with them. These trips have been an exceptional value creator and have elevated my birding experience. The team is constantly partaking knowledge and sharing enriching details on birds, flora and fauna, locations and also on photography. There is never a single dull moment, thanks to the core teams relentless involvement and spirited enthusiasm. All the trip arrangements have been seamless, carefully planned with all details considered, taking into consideration everybody’s comfort. One of the most important element or the consequence of these experiences is that I know I am going to be a part of many of their trips, and ready to go with ya’ll to many more unique and wonderful places. Thank you so much! Look forward to many more.
Thanks so much for everything so far.
Had fantastic time at the LRK tour with you. You guys all the time kept up the energy and fantasy part of sighting a new bird all the time. The arrangements were too of the line -just keep it up for always. Just a minor suggestion -keep more interactions during the tour with beginners so that they get drawn in this fantasy world of bird watching/ photography. Wud surely like to join you on your other tours as opportunities come up.
I had a wonderful time with you people. I had given up birding quite some time back and I was concentrating only on photographing mammals. The Bharatpur trip has reignited my passion for birding and my bird books are back on my table. It was a small group and more like good friends-no competition unlike in some tours I have been with. You were ensuring that everyone sees the rare and endangered birds and also trying to ensure that who ever is photographing can do photography. My appreciation for this effort and cooperativeness. I have no hesitation in telling I would love to join other camps too subject to my other commitments. You have started doing a wonderful job in a very professional way. Keep it up. I wish you all the best in your endeavours. Thanks again.
I enjoyed the trip with a wildlife group where i didn’t feel lost despite ‘being just a nature lover’ and not being at extreme of expert on wildlife or photographer. Stay arrangements were excellent compared to my last stay at Tadoba at another resort and group. I wonder how you guys managed it??? 100/100 for arranging and managing. I specially thank team wild India for making the trip memorable for my mom as the trip was her Birthday gift. She kept on mentioning that it was best wildlife trip she has ever been to (not becoz she saw tiger but the way everything was manged and lovely conversations). Keep up the great work. hope to join another trip soon.
